Watching the DVD of "Star Wars - Clone Wars", the first season of the little 3 minute shorts that were showing on Cartoon Network.

Okay, the animation style takes some getting used to, (same people that did "Samuari Jack", but overall it's cute. Silly, but cute. (and more interesting to watch than Ewoks or Droids was). Still, massively over the top. (I suspect the Jedi eventually got eliminated because they were all bloody show-offs though. When you see them doing 1000 foot and above leaps, it not as much "suspend disbelief" as much as "hold disbeliefs head underwater until it stops struggling."

And, during one sequence in which Mace Windu goes up against this giant anti-personnel device, (that would create giant shock waves and craters by dropping a giant pillar on the ground), I couldn't help but humming the "Liberty Bell March"..... And "Kit Fisto" sounds less like a Jedi Master and more like a porn star name.

Little Bit likes it though. It's bright, colourful, and the 3 minute seqments keep her attention.

Well, that and I really thought it was spectacular. I'm also a SLAVE to Samurai Jack, however. Like, OMG, I <3 the SHIT outta SamJack.

I agree with you both. The series is awesome, and something I would let my kids watch. I think they use their force powers really well, too. Have you seen the 2nd season at all? It leads right up to the movie I think. If you haven't, catch it! I think they are introducing certain characters for the next movie. Like the cyborg General. Anyways, I do enjoy the series, and I hope they can maintain it. Maybe they can do Jedi Academy when they are done with Clone Wars. Wouldn't that be something.
