Talk about conditioned responses......

Was idly flipping though the channels last night, and discovered VH1 was showing Rocky Horror Picture Show.

And I immediately started in with the audience participation lines.

There are times I think it's impossible for me to watch that movie without at least muttering the lines under my breath, if not acting out scenes........

LOL I SOOOO feel your pain... not that it is particularly painfull....My boss has this habit of randomly im'in me RHPS lines then acts all shocked when I automatically replay with the appropriate audience responce line.

I totally threw him one time when he walked up to me one morning and say "what ever happened to fay wray?" complete with very bad tim imitation...

without hesitation I replied"She got fucked by a 40 foot ape with a 10 foot dick!" he just stopped...blinked...then busted up. thankfully it was still 5am and there wasn't anyone else in ear shot.

I haven't seen RHPS in a theater in over 13 years...and it is still just as fresh in my mind.

I think it is some cruel pavlovian joke.

TIll Anon,
Kuro

I just can't get into that movie. But then, I was forced to watch it against my will. But I LOVE Hedwig and The Angry Inch.

About Jethro Tull...a friend of my flatmate's is having a Jethro Tull them party Saturday. I'm going dressed in (pretty) rags, a' la' the cover of Aqualung.

Jay and I were sitting in the TV room when I flipped past it -- and stopped. There's something still very captivating about it. It's also ironic to realize that the fellow in the corset's currently playing King Arthur on Broadway . . . .
