Is a tired gund......
May. 13th, 2005 12:02 amDrove
tepintzin up to Sylvia Woods Harp Center in Glendale today. She came back with a harpsicle, starter book, tuner, etc. I came back with a zippered backpack-style case for my sharpsicle.
You know it's really bad when the clerk at a harp store knows you by name. :-)
Detour in Costa Mesa for a stop by a Japanese bookstore and to a Mitsuwa. Was tempted to get a Japanese translation of Heinlein's "Starship Troopers" for
kuro_hyo. Figured I needed to watch my pennies, and got myself some Green Tea Pocky and some chocolate reverse Pocky instead.
Dropped
tepintzin and her new harp off at her house, where last I saw she was smiling and tuning her harpsicle. *Smile* A good thing to see.
Got home, had dinner, and read for a bit. Tomorrow I go up to see Little Bit for a few days.
