I'm amused when I get phishing emails that are supposely from banks I don't even have a blipping account with.

Except I'm sure that there are people that still fall for it.

I like the phishing e-mails that are to accounts that have no association with a real person - who would have a PayPal or bank account associated with webmaster@domain or calendar@domain?

I've gotten those, as well as some that were supposedly from the bank I did have an account with. What I don't understand is that a fair number of them weren't even addressed to me. The e-mail address in the To: line did start with the same first three letters as mine, but that's about it.

Lately I'm getting tons of these sorts of emails..dire final warnings from yahoo or whatever. It's weird. Who falls for this stuff?

I love the ones that are a) from a "bank" I don't have an account with and b) forget to hide the other addresses they're sending this "notice" to a the same time.
