Meetup begging letters

So far, Meetup has sent me begging letters asking me to be the organizer for The San Diego Anime &
Collectibles Meetup Group, The San Diego Polyamory Meetup Group, The San Diego LiveJournal Meetup Group, The San Diego Star Wars Meetup Group, and the San Diego Harp Meetup Group.

I suspect they're getting desperate.

Bunch of idiots.

They will send you letters for every meetup group you've signed up for that doesn't have an organizer. Which right now is probably all of them.

I don't get those oh-so-annoying letters... I guess that's the benefit of having resigned as organizer for 2 groups and giving my reason as "not willing to pay the fee".

Yeah, after resigning one the next letter I got I replied to, starting with "BWAHAHAHAHA!" and going on from there. I haven't heard back from them since.
