Last saturday I saw something funny at a makeup and costuming store.

They had a "Witches Hat", in shiny black vinyl, with silver chains hanging from the front. A front that was set with silver grommets and laced up the front with a black ribbon.

My first comment was "Wow. I didn't know Diagon Alley had a Hot Topic store as well......"

Yeah, and in keeping with the nature of the Alley, it's probably staffed by brightly dressed 30something professionals with sensible hairdos . . .
