Wow......just wow......

WHAT ARE INDIGO AND CRYSTAL CHILDREN AND ADULTS?

"We will describe the main features and characteristics of these people. But we want to stress that the Indigo/Crystal phenomenon is the next step in our evolution as a human species. We are all, in some way, becoming more like the Indigo and Crystal people. They are here to show us the way, and so the information can be applied more generally to all of us as we make the transition to the next stage of our growth and evolution."

oooookay........

And then there was this gem:

"So, it's not surprising that the generation following the Indigos are incredibly telepathic. Many of the Crystal Children have delayed speech patterns, and its not uncommon for them to wait until they're 3 or 4 years old to begin speaking. But parents tell me they have no trouble communicating with their silent children. Far from it! The parents engage in mind-to-mind communication with their Crystal Children. And the Crystals use a combination of telepathy, self-fashioned sign language, and sounds (including song) to get their point across.

The trouble comes about when the Crystals are judged by medical and educational personnel as having "abnormal" speaking patterns. It's no coincidence that as the number of Crystals are born, that the number of diagnoses for autism is at a record high."

*Sigh*

This line though, makes me feel like I just fell into a certain Tanith Lee duology:

"The Future Crystal child will be known as a "Rainbow Crystal" being. This is the fully developed Thirteen Dimensional Universal Human Being, able to carry and transmit all the Rays of Incarnation and Evolution within their vibrational field. There are Rainbow Crystal beings already on planet Earth, but they are yet to open into their full potential."

"Thirteen Dimensional Universal Human Being, now with built-in USB 2.0!"

Giggle is a good word for it. It just might be that this is 110% complete and total truth, but I feel like I just found My Little Pony meadow muffins. Or waded though a pastel sewer..........

When Theosophy meets Autism.

OK, the theosophists can be real freaks about a lot of things. But I understand from one or two people that their therapists for auties are pretty good. I haven't heard anyone say they're raging abusive loons. Even knew someone a few years ago who worked at one of their places in GB.

Anyway.

The reality in *my* universe is that kids who have inhibited or extremely delayed language skills are really, really adept at emotional manipulation. It's the only way they have to consistently get their desires met.

Have you ever heard Mariel whimpering for a chocolate bar? She KNOWS it's going to work on SOMEONE eventually, so she can keep it up for hours. Literally. We ran into a kindergarten teacher I know from my lunchlady school, and SHE said "Amazing! I find myself overwhelmed with the desire to buy her some chocolate, even though I *know* what she's doing!" It doesn't surprise me at all to think people with a certain worldview see some telepathic ability in this.

Instead of my usual "those people are fucking idiots and fluffy bunnies" I'm going to go with Blanche on my opinion of this.

As I said, I'm willing to conceed they may be completely, totally, 100% right.

It doesn't change the fact I feel like I'm looking at My Little Pony Meadow Muffins. Or that a herd of Lisa Frank unicorns just shat on my retinas.

People will look to anything to deny that their child has an illness, whether mental or physical. I'm sure that not all of these children are autistic, but I'm willing to saw a low margin of them are.

It's a bit sad to me, but I don't think my mother ever gave up hope that God would cure my brother, whether through a miracle or some surgery. I knew better, because while I do believe science and magic(or whatever you want to call it, I just think of it as working or manipulating energy) do not disprove each other(hello, quantum physics!) I had no right to strip her faith from her, but I knew it was impossible.

I've read this website and noticed that there weren't any but the most vague testimonies, nor anything from "indigo or crystal children" who are now old enough to speak for themselves.

I had an ex-boyfriend who believed in this "Indigo" thing, to the point that he believed he was. I just believe he was an immature dickhead. But I guess I'm just not enlightened enough.
