Was looking at the information pamphet from Powells Books in Portland.

Lets see. A Bookstore spanning a full city block. Four floors, old and new books together, over 4 million books total. With ATM machines on each floor, providing a direct siphon from my bank account to their coffers.

But all those books!

For a book addict like me, that's like dark chocolate covered double chcolate chip espresso crack flakes with extra crack sprinkled on top.

We used to take monthly trips from Seattle to Powells... its about a two hour drive, and SOOOOOO worth it, becuase not only is it the BEST bookstore in teh UNIVERSE... there is no state tax in Oregon.

We would drop hundreds there...
